We`re offering 40 000 m2 of farmland in the vicinity of the the village of Muhovo (20km from
Ihtiman). The plots have various shapes and sizes, some are adjacent, they`re in the same area, right next to Topolnitsa Dam. We can offer assistance, if you need to change the land status from farmland to regulated plot. The price is 500 euro per 1000 m2.

Muhovo is situated 60km from Sofia (Sofia and Ihtiman are connected by Trakia motorway, 40 km.), next to Topolnitsa dam. The area is perfect for fishing, hunting and hiking, as the nature is preserved and wild and there`s a great variety of animals and plants. The climate is mild and it`s mostly sunny (280 sunny days in a year) which makes it possible to plant kiwis, figs, lavender, mulberries and pomegranates.

The area is an ancient mountain pass and there are ruins of Thracian and Roman forts � Trayanovi Vrata, Sersem Kale, Lyubnishko Kale. The Roman road, Via Militaris, that connected Singidunum (Belgrade) and Constantinople (Istanbul), also went through this pass. In the more recent history, Muhovo has played a part in the fight against the Ottoman rule, as well as the September rising of 1923.

When the Topolnitsa dam was being built, a Celtic druid temple and various Celtic and Thracian artifacts were found beneath the old village of Muhovo. Today, the ruins are on the bottom of the dam. The new village of Muhovo was founded next to Topolnitsa in the 50`s.
There`s an annual event, Rally Bulgaria, that takes place in the area, which guarantees frequent repairs of the asphalt road. Another interesting fact about Muhovo is that about 20 movies have been filmed in the area.

We`re also selling two regulated plots in the in the village of Muhovo. There`s a road and a water main, the total acreage of the plots is 1500 m2 and the price for both is 5000 euro.
